Carla is from Denver and worked in the business world for many years including work in event planning. She decided later in life that she really enjoyed helping others and made one of many career shifts, which finally landed her here at CSU advising undeclared students. Advising allows her the opportunity to aid in the exploratory journey that many young - and sometimes older - students take.

Carla is now an empty nester, which allows her and her husband to travel, explore, and spend time with old friends. Additionally, she loves spending time with her five grandchildren who all live in Fort Collins.
